Not Exactly Guard Work

I was driving on my way to some facility. As I'm driving, I get a call from my superior. "Hey, I've instructed your clients to meet you at the facility's break room. Listen up kid, this isn't particularly like your usual jobs. So there's not gonna be anyone you'll need to knock out in case things get messy." I drive past a few street lights and ask her, "What do you mean, boss? I just gotta keep an eye out on things, right?" My superior then responds, "Well of course, it's just that there won't be any immediate threats on this one. So be alert. Be a little more flexible tonight." I soon arrived at the facility.

It was huge, kind of like the Microsoft buildings. I walked on in and showed my identification and headed straight for the break room. Apparently it was a specific one. A lot of employees there would roll their eyes at me and dismiss the fact that it was a break room. Some of them would look at me and say, "That's a break room?" and send me on my way. I would soon find out why a lot of the people here didn't really call it a break room.

I opened the door and saw multiple white boards, cork boards, and even some of the walls covered with some formulas or information. On the floor and counters, there were various disposable coffee cups and instant ramen cups lying around. A hot water machine on the counter was plugged in and very close to becoming a fire hazard, so I unplugged it and got it away from the water. There were also tons of papers scattered, all with information I couldn't really understand. Almost like it was in a different language. I looked around, wondering where my clients were. Then I found them. In two separate lounge chairs, E and G were sitting passed out next to their laptops and some more cups of coffee. Thankfully both of them were still alive. I woke up after I reported back to my superior.

I fell back asleep earlier this morning and dreamed again...

I had gotten one of the two jobs I have been working towards getting. For one of my assignments, I was sent a little farther away in Washington. Around that area, I learned that a friend was there. E. I decided to visit her since I don't get to see her often. So after I finish up my job, I start going to her hotel. Right before I can even reach her hotel room, I get a call from head quarters telling me that I have specifically become an agent in high demand for work. My boss told me to return as soon as possible. I wanted to stay around, but I couldn't. I was needed elsewhere. I knocked on E's door, and there she was. The dream must've taken place in the future, both of us looked like we were older. E was wearing business casual clothes with her hair tied back. She must've just gotten back from doing lab work. We chatted for a short while. I had a feeling I wouldn't be seeing her again for a long time, so I told her goodbye. Before leaving, I gave her my business card. It had my name, and under that name was "Professional Protective Services" and "Elite Guardian". When I took the elevator down, I woke up.

I was traveling with my family. Everyone wasn't feeling very well. The situation was that we were trying to get to somewhere safe. It was some kind of apocalyptic scenario. We were running low on supplies, so I parked my car in somewhere safe. I made sure the car was hidden, and then I walked into an abandoned mall. I scavenged for whatever I could find. Clothes, food, medicine, anything. I was caught taking what I needed by a very tall man, and I ran away from him. I woke up when I got out of the mall.

I was calling out to someone, but they wouldn't listen. I was ignored. I can't remember much else about the dream, then I woke up.

I don't really remember much about the dream. I do remember trying to stop a man from playing with some dangerous spiders. In the end, he got a spider bite that reduced his lifespan.

I was sitting with an old man at a restaurant. We were playing a board game, and I was trying to help him remember something. I don't know what it was, but he said that playing the game helped him remember. The board game was similar to Monopoly. We played for awhile until I had to leave. I apologized to him for not being able to help him remember something. Then I woke up.

Left Unsolved

I was working undercover as a student at a college. Something weird was going on with the students and apparently it had something to do with sex. I can't remember exactly what, but it was causing a lot of problems at the school. Students were failing classes, some went missing, others dead. My time spent at the school as a fake student was okay, but I think it's because everyone already knew I wasn't a part of the school. I was left out of the mystery. Something creepy was going on, and I wasn't getting any closer to the truth. I didn't know how to deal with weird crap like this, so I left the school. That's when I woke up.

Another one I can't remember well. All I really remember is running through a forest at night.

Liebster Blog Award

I have been nominated for the Liebster Award by Kathie K from A Sea Change. It's an award given to bloggers by bloggers.

Normally, I would tag people back for this, but I don't follow a lot of blogs anymore. And the one that still updates would be Kathie's. That being said, I'll answer your questions Kathie.

1. What's something most people wouldn't probably know about you?
I can speak and understand some Japanese. It's great when I get to talk to some native speakers because they don't expect it at all. They get so shocked, it's funny.

2. If you could live anywhere in the world other than the place you reside in now, where would it be?
I don't know. The career I might be getting into is mainly based in the U.S., so I guess if I had to move, it'd be where one of their main offices are at.

3. Who is the first person you go to when something happens or in times of need?
No one. I usually spend a while trying to fix things on my own before asking for help. What usually happens is that I solve the problem on my own, and if I can't, then I can pick any one of my friends. They've always been there for me, just as I would to be there for them.

4. What's your biggest guilty pleasure?
There are a few old video games of questionable quality that I enjoy playing every once in a while.

5. If you could have one superpower, which one would it be?
Regeneration. To recover super fast. The reason is that I exercise. A LOT. So this means that for most of the week, a muscle group or two in my body is sore. If I could recover faster, that would mean that my body rebuilds the broken down muscles faster and that I could workout harder each day since I wouldn't be so sore.

6. What's your favorite quote?
"I would like to say everything"

7. When you get mad, how do you calm down?
I spend time alone. If I'm mad, I don't want to bother anyone with my frustration.

8. Bungee jumping or scuba diving?
I choose scuba diving. Seeing under the ocean is like seeing another world, except that you're actually there. It does get a little creepy when you go past the reef though.

9. How old were you when you had your first crush?
I think I was 10. Yeah, that was around fifth grade.

10. Why did you start blogging and what is the meaning behind your blog's name?
I wanted a place to easily record my dreams. Sometimes I lose things, so I thought it would be better to have a blog on the internet since you kind of can't lose it. The meaning of the blog's name is pretty straight forward. To recall dreams; to remember them.

11. What song have you been listening to on repeat lately?
Apathy - Jazztronik ft. Maia Hirasawa

Grassland Noon

I was standing there at that grass field again. Standing beside me was 'myself'. The same one that held me back in a previous dream. Normally, I'd want to run away from him, or fight him. But for this dream, I simply stood by him. If this was supposed to be a reflection of what I was before, maybe I just needed to hang around for a few moments. And in those few moments, my 'self' faded away. It started becoming night time and the moon illuminated the grass field. I decided to walk through it once again, then I woke up.

The grass field always seems to be the place that shows up the most in my dreams. It's a weird place because dreaming of being there never signifies a good or bad dream. It goes either way. It's usually never hot and only fairly cloudy. There aren't a lot of trees around and the grass stretches for miles and miles beyond what the eye can see. I kind of wish I could go to a place like it some day.

I was stabbed. I don't know by whom, but I was stabbed. The dream started out that way. I was inside an office building, slowly making my way to the bottom floor while trying to stop myself from bleeding out. That's about as much as I can remember.

Climb Up

There was a person calling out to me. I don't know where or who she was, but she was calling me. I started panicking and running around looking for her. I remember a feeling that this person was very important to me, but I couldn't remember who it was. After awhile of running around and panicking, I was surrounded by a quick flash of light. I was now wearing a suit of armor. Apparently, the girl I was looking for was up some kind of tower, and I absolutely needed to get to the top. I started my climb up the tower, and that's when I woke up.

Can't remember anything

Saturday, July 5, 2014

I was exploring a dungeon, like the ones you'd see in video games. It was cavern that was dimly lit with torches. This area wasn't exactly like a maze or anything, but it was huge. I got lost a few times, but I managed to start figuring out my way. I later encountered a giant wasp. It stung me right in the chest. I didn't feel any pain, but I lost all sensation in my body. I slumped over and fell to the ground. Within a few moments, I surrounded by a soft, blue light. A kind man had cast a magic spell that cured me. I looked down at my chest, and there was a large gap that was slowly closing itself back up. Before I could even thank him, the man left. That's when I woke up.

I was dead center in the middle of a boxing ring. Instead of being surrounded by an audience, the ring was surrounded by a storm of fire and rocks flying everywhere. The opponent in front of me was myself... Or at least I thought it was. I started blocking off all of his strikes and then I closed my eyes.

Focus. That isn't you. Define the truth.

I opened my eyes again and in front of me was a demon. I was no longer standing in a boxing ring, I was standing in what was probably Hell, and the devil didn't plan on letting me leave anytime soon.

Focus on what's in front of you. Nothing else matters right now, prove yourself victorious over your opponent.

When I ran out towards the demon to fight it, I woke up.

I was exiting from the third floor of the science building and I saw G down at ground level. Instead of walking downstairs like a normal person, I decided to climb off the edge of the stairs to go down faster. When I got close enough, I jumped down next to G to say hello. He was wearing a suit and tie. G told me he had a meeting with some scientists about... Something. I don't remember what it was supposed to be about. He then told me that he overheard people freaking out around the school because someone was walking around with a sword strapped to their back. G asked me if I knew anything about it. I said no, because I hadn't seen anyone walking around with a sword.

From the third floor of the science building exit, I hear someone yell, "ARE YOU SURE?" It's E, and she's throwing something at me. I immediately cut it into pieces before it hits me or G... With a sword. I had a sword on my back without realizing it this entire time. Then she starts throwing more cabbages at me. Then I woke up.

I was sitting at school alone. I was putting something together with a bunch of spare parts. I don't know what I was building. Basically, it was like trying to put together a difficult jigsaw puzzle without knowing what the picture is supposed to be. A lot of the parts were weird plastic pieces, wooden pieces, screws, a few electronic parts, and a few light bulbs. Every once in awhile, E and X would pass by checking on what I was working on. They'd ask, "What is it?" and I'd reply, "Something."

It was starting to get late in the day, and I was beginning to run out of parts. The thing I was putting together started to resemble a lighthouse. A few more moments, and it was finally complete. I turned it on, and this small lighthouse shined brightly in the cafeteria. Then I woke up.

Don't remember a thing. I should stop sleeping late.
